Mother Nature has really thrown us a curveball this winter—80 degree days in February followed a blizzard in March, and routine temperature swings of over 30 degrees daily. But as April quickly approaches, fingers crossed that consistent warm weather is finally upon us. And we are totally ready to pack up those stacks of sweaters, ditch our tights, and start baring a little skin. As with any change in season, a wardrobe update is our favorite part (not to mention absolutely necessary)—so, scroll on and shop our spring staples...
Breezy Dresses, Skirts, and Jumpsuits
Nothing says spring has sprung like showing a little leg in a flowing dress, skirt, or jumpsuit. Effortless, comfortable, and au courant—these babies can take you from the office to rooftop happy hour in a snap. And in case Mother Nature decides give us a winter blast mid-April, just layer your jumpsuit over a turtleneck or pair that floral skirt with your favorite black boots from last season. It's transitional dressing at its best!
Pink
It’s no secret that pink is the current color du jour, and this season marks the perfect time to showcase all your rosy tones. Go for head-to-toe blush, or opt for just a pop of pink—whatever tickles your fancy. Plus, the shade pairs perfectly with that glass of rosé you'll be sipping on that rooftop…
A Petite Bag
Gone are the days of having to hoard gloves, beanies, scarves in your purse just in case of a sudden temperature drop. Spring calls for retiring your trusty tote bag full of winter accessories and replacing it with a chic crossbody or clutch—just big enough for your phone, wallet, shades, and favorite hue of spring lipstick.
Something Straw
Warmer weather just screams of straw accessories—be it a bag, hat, or espadrilles. Trust us, the possibilities are endless, and will crown you "best dressed" at all those weekend brunches.
Stand Out Jewelry
And finally, the finishing touch for every outfit. We're loving bold jewelry this season.
Go for something metallic and architectural, incorporate natural elements like shells or tusk, or combine all of the above for a true spring style statement.
