Whether you're jetting off to a tropical island or heading to Grandma's house, Thanksgiving has become a day where everyone dresses to impress. There's no denying that Turkey Day can be high-pressure—it's likely you're catching up with family and friends you haven't seen in a while (hence, sitting on the receiving end of a weekend-long interrogation about your love life and work situation), introducing a significant other to the mix, or meeting new additions to the family. Whatever the case may be, you want to look your best.
As you start packing, keep your company in mind. You don't want a risqué outfit to offend the elders at the table, nor do you want a pajama-inspired ensemble to set a bad impression for the youngsters. And don't forget your waistline—we get it, it's hard to say "no" to a second helping of stuffing and green bean casserole. So don't subject yourself to tight trousers or a form-fitting frock—trust us, the inevitable and increasing tightness in your outfit will ruin your day. Opt for comfort—a chunky cable knit sweater paired with loose maxi dress can easily tuck away the turkey and still keep you looking chic.
